Toby Thomas

Toby Thomas grew up in a government career family and by the age of 18 had already lived in seven small towns throughout Texas and understood early on the value of true hard work and dedication to a job. During his time in college at ACU in West Texas he operated a logistics company full time, took 56 hours his senior year and graduated with honors. He then left Abilene to pursue a career in mechanical contracting in Dallas, TX. Four years later in 2009, at the age of 28 he developed a National Managed Services business model and launched EnSite Solutions operating in the Mission Critical Data Center/Telecom space. EnSite quickly became the largest Mission Critical single source provider of HVAC, Generator, UPS/DC Plant, and Fire Suppression Systems in North America. In 2013, EnSite was listed as the 187th fastest growing company in the United States by Inc500 and continued to be recognized by Inc500/5000 every year until its acquisition in late 2016 by Cushman & Wakefield boasting their offering to the Mission Critical Space. Toby joined Cushman & Wakefield as their Senior Managing Director of Critical Solutions, Global Occupier Services division until his departure in 2019.


Toby has been recognized by Inc500, SMU Fastest Growing Company and has been featured in publications such as Forbes Magazine, Harvard Business Review, and many others. Toby currently holds multiple board roles in the facility services space, non-profit’s, and continues his entrepreneurial passion counseling entrepreneurs, social media influencers, and non-profit organizations throughout the country. Toby also has been a part of and led humanitarian operations into natural disasters and Ukraine.
